FAQ

Common questions.

How does 5% compare to DoorDash and the others?
DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub take 15–30% per order and own your customer. We take a flat 5%6× lower than a marketplace — with no monthly fee, and the customer stays yours. On a $1,000 day that's $50 to us vs. $300+ to a marketplace, and your diners' data is yours, not theirs.
So how much do I actually pay?
$0/month + 5% per online order. There is a one-time menu setup fee starting at $99 (we build your full menu for you), then no monthly fee, no contract, and no hardware lock-in. On a typical $1,000-day restaurant, your total MenuOrderPro cost is about $50/day — vs. $300+/day on DoorDash.
Will customers find my restaurant on your platform?
No — and that's on purpose. We don't run a marketplace. Your ordering page lives on your website (or a branded subdomain). DoorDash exists to send your customers to your competitors. We exist to keep your customers ordering from you.
What about delivery?
Pickup-only at launch. Delivery is on the roadmap via DoorDash Drive (you set the fee, drivers handle the trip, no commission on the food). Available Q3.
Can I switch from GloriaFood / ChowNow / Toast?
Yes. We have a 30-minute onboarding call where we import your menu, configure hours, and connect Stripe. You can be taking orders the same day.
What hardware do I need?
Any tablet for the kitchen view (a $200 Amazon Fire tablet works). Optional thermal receipt printer if you already have one. No proprietary terminal lock-in like Toast.
What if my power or internet goes out?
Your kitchen display checks in with us every minute. If it goes quiet (power or internet out), we automatically pause your online ordering after about 5 minutes, so a customer never pays for an order you can't see. The moment you're back online, ordering resumes on its own.

Stop paying middlemen
